Committee on Continuing Medical Education (COCME)

The mission/charge of the Committee on CME (COCME) is to:

• Encourage innovation in AAP continuing medical education (CME)/continuing professional development (CPD) activities.
• Promote active learning by providing educational resources and guidance to CME/CPD planners.
• Support the implementation of the AAP CME/CPD program mission statement, which states: The AAP expects that its learning activities will maintain and improve the competence and professional performance of pediatricians and pediatric health care professionals.

The call for nominations for the 2022 AAP Education Award is now closed. A call for nominations for the 2023 AAP Education Award will open in spring 2023.
